Job Description
The Senior Software Developer will analyze requirements, design, code and unit test features on the products server side components. Participate in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging and testing.
Desired Candidate Profile
# Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development, Design Patterns is required.
# 3 or more years experience in software development with an exposure to the full development lifecycle in any of the current web framework technologies like JAVA / J2EE, ASP.NET, PHP/ LAMP stack.
# Familiarity with the Ruby on Rails Framework is a plus. Must be motivated to learn new technolgies with in house training and help.
# Experience with any of the leading databases i.e. MySQL, Oracle or SQL Server.
# Knowledge of Browser technologies like DHTML, CSS, AJAX and cross browser issues.
* Excellent problem solving, communications, consulting and team playing skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Ability to work independently and with distributed teams located in other office locations.
* Experience in documenting specifications and peer code review.
