| Job Description | Job Description: Develops, implements, and maintains computer-based systems to meet business requirements. Application Developers analyze, design, construct, train, and implement application systems. Activities include documenting decisions, adhering to standards and communicating with business groups. Other responsibilities may include providing standards and/or guidelines for development, responding to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur, and developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment. |
| Desired Profile | You should possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree (preferably Computer Science or Information Science) or an M.C.A. degree and should not have graduated before June 2006. Additional qualifications include: - Excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to learn new technologies - Excellent written and/or verbal communication and business understanding skills - Disciplined and ability to work in a globally dispersed team environment - Exposure to or knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) model - Experience in or knowledge of one or more of the following: ASP.NET* VB.NET*, C#, XML, HTML, SQL* Server 2000 and/or 2005 |
