Job Description
As editors in Resonance, we enhance the language and technical content of English-language manuscripts. We are committed to ensuring and continuously surpassing the highest possible standards in science communication. The manuscripts we edit report cutting-edge research in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and earth sciences; they are intended for publication in leading international journals (e.g., Science, Nature, Physical Review, IEEE Transactions).
Resonance is composed of a myriad mix of individuals from diverse professional and scientific fields driven by one common passion - effective scientific communication in English.
Job role
* Edit manuscripts in engineering and the physical sciences to ensure a high standard of English.
* Carry out extensive referencing to ensure correct and subject-specific use of terminology in manuscripts.
* Initially work with a reviewer to further enhance manuscript language and terminology.
* Provide suggestions to authors to help them improve their understanding of English.
* Proofread manuscripts to ensure that they are completely error-free.
Desired Candidate Profile
Fresh college graduates or graduates/postgraduates with work experience in any field are welcome to apply. Previous work experience, if any, will be considered when determining your remuneration.
