Job Description
'Software Development of Embedded Products which involves (Layer 2/3 Switches Development, BRAS (Edge Routers), Cable Set-top boxes, IPTV Set-top boxes, video Stream Servers , Value Added Services for TV V Viewers through Set-top boxes( chatting, internet, Video TelephonyK.) ).
'Taking Module Ownership which involve designing, coding, and unit testing
'Detail Software Module Designing understanding the underlying Software Architecture.
'Software Programming as per Detail Design Considering the various Programming and OS Issues (memory, Performance, Optimization, Code maintainability)
'Unit testing of the module being implemented
'Code Review
'Co-ordination with System Testing Team as and when required
'Taking Module Ownership which involve designing, coding, and unit testing
'Detail Software Module Designing understanding the underlying Software Architecture.
'Software Programming as per Detail Design Considering the various Programming and OS Issues (memory, Performance, Optimization, Code maintainability)

Desired Candidate Profile
1. Candidate Should be B.E / B.Tech / M.C.A with the willingnessZeal for Hardcore Embedded Software Development and should posses Good Leadership quality to take care of module team project Ownership as early as possible.
2. Candidate should have very Sound Technical knowledge of Embedded Programming which involves
a.Any Real Time operating System ( VxWorks, Linux, ST OS21 ,ST OS41, Window OS concept )
b.System and Socket Programming working experience
c.C Language( Pointers, Link list, Memory Management , Low-level Concepts of different data-types and APIs in C)
d.Atleast 1 year of working experience using Data Structures
3.Candidate should have good understanding of Any One of the following domain
a.Good Network Knowledge which includes OSI Layer practical usage, network Protocol(TCP-IP , IGMP, RIP, OSPF,P PoE, RTP/RTSP/RTCP ) knowledge implementation Techniques OR
b.Good broadcasting- TV Knowledge ( ETSI, DVB, IPTV, Set-top-box, CAS, Mpeg/wm9 video & audio streaming )
LE's target for 2007-2008 is INR 20 Cr. LE's success in sales has also given it the insight into its markets. The market research has led LE to set up a target of INR 50 Crores for 2008-2009.
