As a key member of the Redknee Software Development team, you will be responsible for the design, and delivery of high quality, reliable, sustainable, high performance software to satisfy technical designs and architects for customer solutions and problems. What will you deliver?
-Work as part of a development team to deliver software for wireless telecom industry
-Design, develop, test and document software
-Work within defined software development process
-Ensure product specifications are meet
-Work with project managers to provide software development effort estimates
-Support and maintain existing software
What will you bring?
-5 years of experience with Java
-Experienced in developing multi-threaded and distributed applications
-Work experience with TCP/IP and sockets programming in UNIX environment
-Work Development experience with application communication protocols development (e.g. SOAP, SIP,SMPP, ASN.1, etc)
-Work experience with TCP/IP and sockets programming in UNIX environment
-Experience in developing optimized, high performance and high availability systems
-Excellent problem solving skills and troubleshooting skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Expertise in SIP, SIMPLE, LBS, IMS
-Experience with real-time systems
-Working knowledge of SS7
-Experience with GSM, CDMA networks
-Experience with Unix
-Proficiency in SMPP and other GSM SMS related protocol
C / C++
-Unix system programming
Education and qualifications
A degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
