Designation	Software Distribution Engineers ( SMS / Alltiris / Radia )
Job Description	Software Distribution: Ongoing management the ManageSoft servers. * Updating/patching the servers as and when updates are available. * Managing various ManageSoft modules (hardware inventory management, software inventory management, software distribution publisher, patch manager, packaging of software, policy manager) * Patch management Ensure no errors on logs, patch deployments and testing and also configuration and run through checklist for any patch deployments. Security patches management using ManageSoft. Get the updates from Microsoft and perform testing of patches. Distribute patches and generation of compliance reports. * Performing Software distribution using ManageSoft tool set Create packages, delete packages, testing of packages, and creation of Windows Installer software packages using Radia tool set. Testing and certifying the packages for distribution. * Generation of reports and communication with the stake holders. Standard set of reports will be created and generated by the team. * Troubleshooting client installations and software distribution issues. * Documentation of all server and software configuration.
