Designation     Fresher - Oracle 8i/9i/10g DBAs, SQL / SQL Server DBAs - H1B Sponsor Transfer
Job Description    Fresher - 3+ years Oracle Application DBA experience
Primarily responsible for installing, configuring and supporting Oracle 11i and related applications
Application and database problem diagnosis, research, fix, testing and resolution
Apply and test patches to the 11i environments- Follow established procedures to perform code migrations to Dev, Test, and Prod instances
Provide day-to-day support for maintenance, troubleshooting and performance tuning of the technical environments
Work with internal uses to identify and resolve application issues- Ensure application backup and recovery- Participate in on-call (off hours) schedule to provide support to the user community.
Must have knowledge of RAC, RMAN, Database Performance tuning, PL/SQLDatawarehousing/ ETL.
Experience in supporting large (over 1 Terrabyte) Oracle 9i transactional databases, Ability to administer Oracle 9i databases via Unix and SQL Plus command lines and User managed backup and recovery.-Strong: Shell Scripting, Oracle upgrades/patches.
