Job Description

Understand & become conversant with Xilinx product development practices and methodologies.
Develop product specifications and detailed design documents as required.
Write code in C/C++ to support new product development.
Enhancements to existing product to support new features and/or bug fixes as per change requests assigned to you.
Develop unit tests and validate the code as part of development process.
Review product documentation for usability and completeness.
Contribute to product review meetings to drive product deliverables as per the release schedule.

Desired Profile

Required Qualifications:
BE/ B.Tech, ME/M.Tech in CS, C/C++ project/product development, Algorithm analysis, design and/or implementation, PERL.
Work effectively as an individual and in teams.
Ability to communicate technical information in an organized and understandable fashion.
Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and track many activities.
Creative problem solving skills.
Work with cross functional teams to drive quality product deliverables.

Desired Qualification:
Good understanding of digital logic design
Familiarity with Xilinx FPGA flow
Familiarity with CVS or any other version control system
Knowledge of Perl, Shell or other scripting language
